 Aurous "..shiny gold treasure winks up at me" Location |
Treasure keeper. Good at her job but sometimes can get lazy and fall asleep... but that only happens occasionally. "Aurous, at your service! But, yawn do I feel sleepy today. I'd take a nap but yawn I have a job to do!" Aurous can't help it - she grows sleepy with each passing minute, but snaps back into focus as soon as she's conscious of her sleepiness. So far, though, she's managed to keep the City's treasures safe.

Aurous stares at the pile of gold in awe. She had never seen so much gold in one place in her life - until she came to work as a treasure keeper. She's been trusted to keep all this treasure safe. So she vows to do it. It is a big responsibility - to keep all this treasure safe. Guarding the only entrance to the Vaults. Tried teaching herself to stay awake during her shifts, but that never seems to work. |

Aurous has always been fascinated by shiny things. It didn't matter if it wasn't real gold; as long as it gleamed brightly in the glaring sunlight, she loved it. She had been told many, many times that it was a coincidence that she liked shiny things when she looked like one too. But she never saw her scales catch the light. Not even once. Maybe it was just her. She'd never bothered to ask. Aurous had left her family to explore the outside world. Only recently had she heard that her cousin, Hestia, was living in the City of Aerivium. Excited, she headed there, hoping to find more shiny - uh, her cousin there. |
Ever since she was a child, Aurous had difficulty keeping herself awake for more than an hour or so. This didn't bother her, since she never had anything important to do during her childhood. But when she got the job as the city's treasure keeper, she has been doing her best to stay awake. If you ask her, she'd tell you her longest time awake while guarding the treasure was two and a half hours. Don't tell her it's not that long. It is long. For Aurous, anyway. The Vaults are located deep within the Domain, guarded closely by, well, Aurous. The walls are high, reaching out to the sky, craving for sunlight.
