Biography
Tangerine is a snake farmer in Square Toe.
Well, not really in Square Toe. Her complex - home, sheds, incubator, and rows of low, chicken-wire cages - is far enough away that it would be tricky to even call it the outskirts. Despite being a recent immigrant, Tangerine is liked well enough in town to have no problem moving somewhere more central. There's plenty of room! It's just, you know. The snakes.
Dragons occasionally ask just what
Tangerine's most frequent visitor is Mary (no, not that Mary. the other one.), who is in a similar profession.
she lives in square toe and she is a snake farmer. i dont know what you farm snakes for. eggs? she raises snakes for eggs and meat? venom? YEAH i guess cherry would want venom to make antivenins and stuff, probably other doctors too. she could export that stuff. snakeskins to make leather from. yes actuallly snake farm is fantastic idea.
she is friends with mary who has a bug farm, just like unconventional farmers. maybe they trade stuff like mary can feed snake guts to the bugs and probably the younger snakes eat bugs too. its got to be on the outskirts/desert bc no one wants many possibly venomous snakes near their homes
mostly she raises (research what kind of snakes live in deserty areas, sonora specifically) nonvenomous snakes that grow quickly for meat, eggs, skins, but has a very few rattlesnakes etc for venom. those she doesn't eat or anything. she is very very careful handling them because they are dangerous but its also the most lucrative thing and what she is able to export.
