OSTEO // Protective Necromancer
Osteo is a gifted necromancer who looks after the graves, spirits, and burial rites of dragons and familiars buried within the Hewn City. He is not very old, yet due to his magic he inhabits an aged body and possesses a mind wizened beyond his years. Though he is a necromancer, he rarely resurrects life, and becomes furious with anyone who selfishly asks him to raise dead friends, relatives, and/or familiars.

He finds great joy, though, in performing the rituals to ease the dead, as well as in acting as a medium to allow the living to speak to their dead loved ones. He also performs embalming and cremation practices in accordance to the wishes of the dead. Osteo never allows his necromancy to serve the interests of the living, he uses it to keep the dead in peaceful slumber.

He also tends specifically to the graves of Imperials within the Hewn City, no matter how ancient, ensuring they never rise as Emperors like Luminax. He is fiercely protective of the plots that contain dead Imperials, moreso than his already fervent protectiveness of the rest of the burial grounds. He sometimes fears his own mortality, wondering if his death may trigger the rising of an Emperor.
