Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this ironically named dragon wandered a little too far from his home lair (grxndsxn, 437722), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the hub. Please refrain from exalting him!
Important note: Please only trade this dragon on travelling dragon threads, as opposed to places such as the Auction House.
Darkbringer would like to receive a permanent home someday, so if you'd like to adopt him after he's been travelling long enough, just let his owner know!

Darkbringer is... uh... rather ironically named. Nobody knows for sure how he got that name to begin with. Maybe he fits it, though; he's a Plague dragon, and has some fairly dark colors... no, nevermind.
It's believed that maybe his name was a placeholder from his father, who thought he'd grow into it someday (after all, his father's name is ChalkMoss, and weird names do seem to run in his family). Or maybe "Darkbringer" is an embarrassing nickname he gave himself one day.
Maybe he'll find a better name someday, but he at least accepts "Darkbringer" as better than nothing.

His first destination was Mayevra and Morlais' lair, a Skydancer and Guardian pair who lent a portion of their den to those in need of shelter. However, the two never invited Darkbringer to their lair. In fact, the hapless hatchling wandered inside the main section of their lair where all the adult dragons mingled. How he managed to sneak in is still a mystery, but the other adults noticed him only after he was seen stealing food from their hoards.
Of course, as much as the other dragons were annoyed, Mayevra and Morlais were quick to forgive the Snapper and promptly relocated him to the nursery. It was there that the two learned about Darkbringer's past and, more importantly, who his father was. Morlais was the grandson of Helena, and with children of his own, he knew more than anyone about being a part of a great lineage. With the assistance of Mayevra and a few other adults, they all raised Darkbringer until he quickly grew into adulthood.
Now? It was time for the Snapper to move on to a new lair. He sought to explore more of Sornieth, and though everyone was sad to see him go, the Skydancer and Guardian pair encouraged Darkbringer to find his place in the world. But they did let him know one thing: if he ever wanted to come back, he was always free to do so.
