“Your future… I see a great obstacle in your future,” Scorpio said solemnly. Under his client’s nervous eyes, he leaned closer to his crystal ball. “Hmm… yes, yes. It will be difficult to overcome, and there is a high chance that you will falter.”

Then, with a charming and sympathetic smile, he looked up and gently said, “But you should know that you have dragons by your side who you can rely on. When that obstacle comes, your companionship will be the key to overcoming it.”

Despite all the words coming from his mouth, Scorpio wasn’t actually a fortune teller.

See, the key to faking all of this was to say statements that were vague but believable enough that the clients could associate his words with whatever experience they would have, while having a little specification to them so that he didn’t come off as a hack.

“Thank you, thank you,” the client thanked him profusely. Scorpio smiled.

“There is no need to thank me, I am but a simple Coatl looking to help others improve their lives,” he said humbly. A glint appeared in his eyes at that very moment.
