Kenai

The Empire was a band of Gaolers that abandoned Orders of Gaoler society to create their own clan. Was — a rival clan that had become Shade-afflicted eradicated everyone, except the last royal, Ika, and her knight, Wolf. Two shapeshifters, one a skilled swordsdrake and the other a mage, fled to northern continent to seek a place to rebuild their Empire. HEADER — a warning // don't be fooled, lest you find yourself felled by my sword   This clutch was born in the heat of the summer, an ill omen to most Ice dragons, but perhaps a blessing in disguise for this bloodline. The warmth seems to have dulled the more monstrous features common to their lineage, while allowing their sensitivity to magic to flourish in ways unique to Ice dragons. Kenai, the third born: Protector dominant, average magic potential (XYZ kinda close nice eyes). He is inclined to fight to claw and tooth, though he also contains a respectable hold of magical ability. A typical middle child, Kenai is used to being forgotten and underestimated; but he knows his own worth. Mostly a chill dude, with a hint of sharp wit and perceptiveness hidden somewhere beneath. His sword was actually stolen from him by an evil mage dragon.

maybe he is/was stuck in the form of an abnormally large wolf, captured by an animal trader or some kind of evil mage dragon? and brought to dragonhome. perhaps found injured/needing help by one of the Terrathorn dragons, who brought him back to Morning for care.


Change genes to Peregrine/Weathered when his lore progresses and he is ready to breed with Ashei/Rika. It's a natural progression, since he has settled in a warmer climate. May also be the result of the curse leaving him stuck in wolf form for so long.
