It's not completely known why, but for some reason, dragons with the gembond tertiary gene have the ability to find gemstones easier than others. This is why the clan doesn't worry about wealth (gems are the dragons' currency). Along with Velvet, Eros has this ability too (she uses them for her potions).

✦ Backstory ✦
He and Velvet are the only two that survived from their clutch- this made it harder but that just means they became stronger as well. They're bonded much closer than most siblings because of this, and they rely on each other for support (it's a symbiotic relationship). The two are rarely seen apart.

✦ Behavior ✦
He's very reliable, but he still trusts Velvet's judgement better than his. His appearance scares away most younger dragons (he has a RBF) but he's actually quite gentle. Most of his time is consumed by being the general, but he does get to spend it with Velvet, since she does the job with him. Although he usually has a gentle nature, when he's commanding, he's extremely firm with his soldiers.

Blue honeycomb, fairy ears, and sour strawberries. He can eat most anything, but he's rather partial to plants.

There are a little over a dozen different guards, but only three actually go out and do battle. The rest patrol the territory and keep it safe. There really isn't that much trouble, but it's better to be careful.

He has a matching one with Velvet; manti are very good "battle bugs" as well as lookouts if atop a dragon's head.
