Senca

Senca was born and raised in The Wandering Contagion, she was content with her life when she was there. When she flew the nest and went to start her own family that's when she began to worry, her multiple attempts at trying to reproduce would always fail, after years of trying she and her mate finally accepted that they would never be able to have hatchlings of their own. She was terrified that her mate would leave her because of this, but he stayed by her side because he loved her no matter what.

The pair decided to adventure the Scarred Wasteland as a way to take their minds off their worries, perhaps they would get to try new things together the further they explored.

Senca and her mate eventually ran into scavengers from The Mycelium Pestilence Clan, she and her mate kept their distance while the scavengers did the same. Her mate found it odd that the scavengers weren’t attempting to rob them, that's when Senca noticed one of them was carrying a hatchling that clearly wasn’t theirs. Without thinking Senca approached them with curiosity of the hatchling, the scavengers growled at her, Senca gestured towards the hatchling that the scavenger was holding to show she only wanted to see the hatchling. Surprisingly the scavenger did show the hatchling to her, she felt a smile rise on her face as she watched the hatchling let out a sleepy yawn. She looked at the scavenger and asked if she could have the hatchling, The scavenger shook their head and told her that the hatchling belonged to their clan now. She asked them if she and her mate could join their clan, they told her that if the two wanted to join they would have to follow them and talk to their clan leader. After Senca and her mate conversed for a bit the two decided to follow the scavengers back to their territory. Senca and her mate were allowed to join the clan after they completed the three trials. It was a hassle for the both of them but they succeeded. The hatchling that was carried by the scavengers was adopted by Senca and her mate, The two named their new son “Fuciformis” as a way to embrace their new clan’s traditions. All was well for the couple and their new son…

Sadly, years later her mate had fallen ill and had passed away far too soon. Senca was left to raise their son on her own, tears were shed for weeks after her love's passing as she and Fuci mourned a loyal mate and beloved father. It took her a while to move on but she soon found comfort in a forgotten memory, a song that her mother would sing as Senca played with her mate when they were hatchlings. She started humming the song to put their son to sleep, as the song went on she would remember all the adventures she had with the love of her life, the ups and downs of life that he stayed with her through no matter what. And now Senca can’t wait to see their son go on his own adventures himself, and when it’s time for her to go, she’ll be happy to go on new adventures with her mate in the clouds.
