Eidol

- Slumbered for years beyond counting as a golden statue, eventually found her way into the vault of a greedy, dangerous dragon
- When Obelisks were first discovered by Sornieth at large and Eidol did not awaken, he took advantage of the excitement and sold her off on the black market to the highest bidder, assuming she was just a statue, but conning some rich fool into believing she might just be a late-rising Obelisk
- She continued to slumber as a decoration for someone's estate, afraid of the consequences if she woke up and requested freedom.
- One day, a Skydancer was brought in to finally lay to rest the debate of whether she was gold or dragon. Many a Skydancer had visited before but this one, wreathed in fire, was supposedly more sensitive to the nature of things around him. Eidol feared what would happen if she was discovered.
- She saw, under his hood, a knowing look as he gazed upon her.
- He then told the dragon, who was very adamant that he know the full value of his purchase, that the statue wasn't a dragon—and wasn't even gold. That he'd been fooled.
- The estate's owner immediately lost interest and waved the Skydancer away, demanding he take the phony out of his sight. Though the Skydancer was offended at being treated as a servant, he did just that, with the aid of a few of the larger mansion staff. Once outside, the Skydancer and Eidol were left on the front lawn—she was his problem now.
- Only once they were joined by a vibrant green and orange Gaoler and a second Skydancer, seemingly made of fire, did the first one speak to her, acknowledging that he knew she was, indeed, an Obelisk, and that whether she chose to wake now or remain sleeping a while longer, she was welcome to join them in their clan—or strike out on her own, if she so preferred.
- She remained quiet, and the trio loaded her onto a sledge to start the trek home. But as night fell, she grew curious of her rescuers, and she finally broke her vigil, moving from her place on the sledge and asking why they had saved her, how they had come to know of her.
- All her questions, they answered, and in the morning, she joined Nix, Lothair, and Maudy as they continued their journey back to the Wayward Winds.


Eidol now holds fast to the achievements of the clan, taking great care in tending to the various medals, badges, and trophies they have accumulated.
