Biography

Mordaine
She/they/it, ace + aro

Mordaine is a proud and intimidating dragon; she is, outwardly, very confident, and she always seems to know what she's doing. She speaks in an archaic manner with a very loud voice, and thus many dragons find her to be intimidating. She doesn't like being wrong or being bested by anyone, and she gets very upset when these things happen. Despite all this, Mordaine is actually quite awkard and insecure socially; she isn't quite sure how to make friends.

Mordaine is an eldritch deity who grew tired of their life and decided to try to live a normal, mortal one. They are doing their best to befriend other dragons and contribute to clan life, although they're struggling a bit with both of these things. Their proud nature often gets in the way when they make mistakes, and this leads to frequent arguments with their clanmates. Even so, they are working hard on improving their flaws. They seem to be good friends with Caligo, Isaac, Banshee, and Stuffy.

As an eldritch being, it ruled over its followers with an iron fist, and frequently demanded sacrifices to expand its power. Mordaine was ruthless, and it immolated anyone who so much as irritated it. Needless to say, it was feared and respected for its power, and it was called upon to take down the enemies of its followers frequently. After thousands of years, however, Mordaine grew tired of this life. Mordaine came upon Brighthaven when it left its home on another plane of reality; Brighthaven was the first settlement it stumbled upon, so it decided to settle there. At first, it tried its usual tactic of appearing intimidating and powerful... but upon watching Brighthaven's residents flee from it, Mordaine quickly changed its tune. After some time, Mordaine was slowly welcomed into the clan, where it is now striving to live a simple mortal life.
