The eldest of Bavereon's children who remains in the clan, Skrymir had no desire to take her place and felt himself unqualified for the position. When the subject of succession arose he readily agreed that the leader should be chosen on merit, not lineage.

He is quite dedicated to his clan and serves them as its healer. Extremely adept at identifying herbs, Skrymir taught all of his children basic herbology. His eldest son, Hugh, took a deep interest in that area of his father's trade, and is now the clan botanist. Skrymir is very skilled in the mundane aspects of healing, though he has little magical talent to speak of. This in no way keeps him from being an excellent healer, though there are certain injuries and illnesses he cannot handle. Luckily, his assistant, Anders, has an overflow of magical healing talent, so between the two of them the clan is well stocked with healers.

Skrymir is a calm, soothing presence, never raising his voice (Though all dragons dread when his voice becomes overly sweet, one of the few noticeable signs of his annoyance).
