All that Glitters is Gold

Zahavi had never known family when he was younger. He had been on his own since he hatched from an egg. Oftentimes, he wandered wherever his paws took him, collecting small knick knacks here and there. That was, until a large guardian stumbled upon him. She took him in and raised him within her clan among the other members. Since then, he vowed to himself that he would protect her and his new home for as long as he lived. He became fiercely loyal to the extent of being wary and cold-shouldered to any newcomer. While he never sought out physical conflict, he was always one of the first to jump in to defend his clan, earning him a fearsome title among other clan members.

His fiercely loyal personality wasn't the only thing that marked who Zahavi was as a dragon. While his title did hold him a bit higher than most -at least in his eyes - he also adorned himself in lots of gold. It held no purpose except for satisfying his self-flattery, though the satisfaction with each new piece was only temporary as he continued to seek out more gold adornments, whether it be wardrobe or personal enhancements.
