Biography

Inscribed in a fancy script on the hardware that used to be her axis is the name of the artisan who crafted her globe form before she was animated: Haetara. She was originally a globe of Sornieth, the incredibly ornate, decorative kind complete with a scaled version of its moons. One moon didn't survive the transformation, just as her continents are no longer recognizable as the Eleven Regions, but the one that did buzzes around her with a mind of its own. It is just as curious as she is, but tethered to a short radius from her and incapable of speech, so it tends to express itself by doing wild aerobatics and sparking off energy in varying intensities. Haetara's hide is smooth and solid but appears for all the world like a shimmering ocean thanks to the skill of her creator. If you look closely enough, you might swear you saw a group of miniature binicorns leap briefly into the air. She is an explorer and traveller, determined to visit every corner of the world she was modeled after in order to understand herself and her place as a sentient object among ancient, complex societies that she could never hope to fully understand. Ralakay Glen has been her temporary home for quite a while now. While she still plans to continue her journey one day, she has found comfort and family among the other artificial draconic beings that reside there. Especially the Arcanist, who has made it his (one of many) mission to understand the magic that brought her to life. It appears to be some collaboration between Arcane and Wind, perhaps Haetara the globe artisan was from a clan on the border with the Windsinger's territory. Or perhaps an eager young Arcane-alligned mage used a souvenir globe to practice animation magic. Her memories begin sometime after she became sentient, so there's no telling.

Exalting Haetara to the service of the Arcanist will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
