Glycyrrhiza glabra

Native to Western Asia & Southern Europe
A pinnate leaves about 7–15 cm, with 9-17leaflets.
Flowers are purple to pale whitish blue, produced in a loose inflorescence.

Usage Recommendations
Used in traditional medicine to sooth stomach aches and reduce inflammation.
Modern uses treat heartburn, acid reflux, coughs, and infections and cavities.
If made into a tea it can sooth sore throats.
Topically used it can help treat acne or eczema.
Also its said to boost weight loss!

If used in excess (overdose) high blood pressure and abnormal heart rhythms may occur.
While rare licorice poisoning may occur, leading to kidney and or heart failure, as well as excess fluid in lungs!
