The only one of Harper and Rienna's children who stayed in the port instead of joining the Boneguard, Lachlan is a talented swordsman and boisterous fighter with little interest in military service. They work as a bouncer at Pygmalion's parlor and, off the job, have something of a concerning interest in gambling, although their boss has discreetly instructed his dealers to always cut them off before they can waste their whole salary. Although their relationship with their much more straight-laced mothers is somewhat distant, Harper and Rienna do always welcome them back with open arms for a visit, albeit not without some gentle needling about cleaning up their gambling problem and finding more respectable work and, Plaguemother almighty, Lachlan, did you have to get those Shadow-style tattoos all over your wings like that?

Under the table for extra pay, Lachlan also assists Ozy with his more clandestine dealings, primarily by acting as a safe handoff point for whatever items a customer wants gone. Pygmalion largely turns a blind eye to any secretive exchanges that Lachlan engages in at his establishment, as long as none of them can incriminate his business in anything. They don't do bodies, though; customers are responsible for transporting those themselves.
