______ There are whispers of those with lineages that defy nature. Those of these lines hold powers which were best left to be forgotten, yet still they roam this earth, many of them eager to cause mischief or chaos. Others retire quietly to realms where they can be left at peace, while others spurn their heritage and attempt to live ordinary lives.

______ Adorned by overwhelmingly destructive light and corrupted by wild magic that seeks to consume all, the children of Taliesin and Ausir are known to be unstable at the worst of times.

______ Shining like the sun right before it slips before the horizon, Tesai is nearly the opposite of his father, and almost the identical image of his fiery mother. When his wings spread wide, burning light seems to seep away from his image, the marigold hues on his scales and wings emitting sunshine as if he was the sun. Compared to his more commanding siblings, he's more on the quiet side. From afar he'll maintain an intimating statue, but close up, he tends to be elusive and quiet, more content to watch, ignoring the whispers of powers in his mind.

______ It's a curse of the three lineages. The powers of Ignis - the Beast, Naomi - the Gatekeeper, and Zinovia - The Eventide Queen run hot through his veins. But the whispers in his mind are worse than the lineages he comes from. When the light dims around him, especially at night, the whispers begin to rise from the depths of his mind. They speak of the overwhelming power still trapped deep inside his core, ready to be freed to bring the world to their knees. Power to threaten even his eldest sister Tsarina apparent lies waiting within him.

______ Thus Tesai sleeps with bonfires around him, the light from the crystals in the ceilings of his den radiating bright stars to soothe his burdened mind. For only in the underwhelming firelight does everything wash away from his mind, letting him drift off to sleep. Perhaps there will come a day when one of embers and darkness can halt the whispers that hound him.
