Haru Confectioner Mischievous | Energetic | Creative Ambrose and Haru both came to Kronyx when both were just little hatchlings and during the days of their youths they were often joined at the hip as most would say. They would dash about the clan grounds causing trouble and making the older dragons chuckle at their antics. Each time they would pass by the old bakery, the olden dragon who ran it would always offer the duo a treat, easily it became the boys favorite snacks: for Ambrose it was a savory meat pie filled with only the finest cuts of meat the baker could buy from the local butcher. For Haru, it was a sweet jelly candy that the baker had molded into the shape of a small Bluewave Jellyfish. The boys would always parade around the clan grounds happily with their treats before stopping at the town's fountain to enjoy their treats before retiring to the Kindergarten as they did each night and day. This routine became commonplace all the way up until the boys were old enough to take on an apprenticeship. Both boys were eager to join the bakery, both wanting to be able to make their own sweets whenever they wished. The old dragon was elated to finally have someone to carry on her business once she was ready to retire. The two had their specialties, Haru was far more suited to the baker's jelly treats and sweets, with his unique Capsule gene he even found he was able to perfectly temper chocolate by storing the ingredients in his compartment. Each boy fit into their own niche in the bakery, a place they were meant to fill as if this is what they'd been meant for their whole life. The time came for the owner of the bakery to step down, she was too frail and feeble to continue her work and thus she passed the bakery onto the boys, knowing that she had prepared them for their work as best she could. After she peacefully passed, the boys took up their aprons and promised that they would do the best work possible to honor the old lady that had been such a large part of their lives. To this day Ambrose and Haru work dutifully to have just as big of an impact on the others of the clan as she once did to them, the two sworn brothers make the same sweets that she once did and even add their own to the menu. The brothers have since expanded the bakery, adding on with a shop focused on candies to better suit Haru's specialties, but that doesn't mean they don't still work together. In fact, the two kitchens of the building connect to each other, so whenever one brother enters the kitchen, the other won't be far behind. And in continuing the legacy their master set for them, the brothers have taken up an apprentice of their own, a young boy named Penrose who will one day take up the shops in their stead. |
