THE MOTHER • Loving, matronly caretaker
Saige is a natural-born mother, and loves taking care of all of the hatchlings of the clan. She believes that a village raises a child, and makes sure that all the hatchlings are fed, groomed, and watched after, even if their mother is around. She is very strict when it comes to discipline, and will deliver a swift swat to any misbehaving child's rump if deemed necessary. However all but the most unruly children love her because she is one to smother them with attention, and to give out treats every so often. She is a big gossiper, and loves to share whatever juicy story is circulating through the clan while warming her nest with other mothers.
Originating from the late Somnus clan, she was welcomed into the Miasma.

"Hey young'uns, what's goin' on here?" Saige bellowed as she sped as quickly as her large frame allowed her towards a group of hatchlings. Two larger hatchlings ran away as quickly as their stubby legs would take them, and one sat crying, holding a small toy made of bone. "Miss Saige, they broke my twirly" she sobbed, holding out the smashed top.
"Well then, I'll take care of that right 'ere and now. But first... What's that behind your ear child?" She reached behind her ear-frill and produced a new top, almost as if by magic. "Looks like you need to clean your ears out better" The little dragoness' eyes lit up, and she bowed respectfully "Thank you so much Miss Saige!" and for the rest of the day all that was heard were the sounds of the dragoness giggles, and the growl of the two hatchling's stomachs as they watched everyone eat dinner but them.
