Akasha: Elusive Candy Thief
Sometime around Halloween, Marshmallow noticed a strange phenomenon - chocolates, sugar crystals, honeycombs - all disappeared in the flick of a tail as soon as she turned her back. At first, she assumed it was just one of the hatchlings, but she soon noticed she could glimpse a fluffy, dark tail disappearing around the corner if she was quick enough.
One particular day, Marshmallow left a large order of soft cherry-centered chocolates on the kitchen counter before tending to her usual duties. As she returned, a movement caught her eye - a lone chocolate bounced a couple inches and skidded to a stop at her talons.
Turning the corner into the hall, Marshmallow looked down to see… a mini rock-candy sculpture in the shape of an Obelisk.
“Ah, I see,” she chuckled softly.
She nudged the lost chocolate across the tiled floor to the “statue”.
“Don’t go taking the customers’ orders next time - I’ll make sure to leave some for you!”
There was no response. Smiling, Marshmallow left the hall, calling to Meraki - “I think we might need another batch of chocolates, it seems like the Honeytummies’ bees got into them!”
“Hey, wait, what!? That’s not even possible!” the indignant voice yelped.
As the banter went on and more hatchlings joined in, a small fluffy figure disappeared from sight, taking the chocolate with it.
