Efren
Healer

Driven out of her home in the Scarred Wasteland after a harsh civil conflict in her clan, Efren initially came to the Breach to find safety and recovery. She took great shame in retreating from the battle, despite her need to recover, seeing her failure to thrive despite it as a failure of strength on her part. She considered herself weak, inferior, until little Agaric arrived, a hatchling facing the same peril as she had. Alienated from his clan, surrounded by dragons who he did not quite understand, and yet so strong in facing it. Seeing the strength in him, she began to see her own strength as well, once again.

Without delay, she took little Agaric in, deciding to settle down in the Breach for good. Nowadays, Efren uses her expertise to heal the dragons of this Earthen clan, who for the most part are not as resistant to disease as a Plague dragon is- but only when it is necessary. After all, she believes in her flight's ability to repair and enhance, as well as the Earth flight's resilience. Dragons know only to come to her when the situation becomes dire, or be turned away.

She's a stubborn and driven dragon, always bound to see things through to their end. To her clients (and to Agaric), she offers a firm but gentle hand. 		.

Relationships

Agaric considers Efren an auntie, rather than a mother. The two bond deeply over their shared Plague heritage, though Agaric is also particularly resentful of their new Earth home. She tries to teach him better, of course- though it can be a little tough to communicate with a rambunctious Coatl at times... The little guy's certainly a handful for her, but Efren does her best to encourage his better qualities to flourish.
