Spring is in the air. Aerfyn senses it before the earliest bloom, before the first birds return from their winter homes. He knows it because he can feel the change in his charge. Mithrah stirs ever so slightly in her slumber and Aerfyn knows it is time to prepare for her awakening.

He tenderly begins to clear her monolithic form of its loamy cover, sweeping away dead leaves and cobwebs until he can see the budding branches growing from her body. These he prunes, artfully trimming away any unhealthy growth and shaping them to best move with her body when Mithrah comes alive for the year. He is efficient and careful as he works, patiently anticipating the fast approaching day when her eye will crack open and behold him, her devotee.

Tendra likes pop music. Ljotur likes death metal. They find a balance with their combined interest in Ska. These two can be found in their den, comparing notes while tunes of the one who won Rock-Paper-Scissors for the day plays in the background. Offspring of this pairing will have a natural affinity for music, but usually take a long bit of practice to pick up a new instrument. They all get a recorder as a gift on their first hatchday.
