Menace

Menace was the first of The Grown, and according to her, the most like The Plaguebringer. Menace is the god of passion. She rules battle and viscera, as well as loyalty and love. She has many children, some are gods, others are mortal. Many of The Creatures were once her lovers, but in her ruthless need for expansion, it often turns to the Wyrmwound to make them truly Hers. They stay loyal, and she always loves them for it, but usually they aren't sentient enough to enjoy the same kind of love as before. Menace's pack of lovers-turned-beasts savages the land, and curbs her craving for a war.

Passion of a Lover

She has her favorite lover, of course. Largo, is the most loyal of all the lovers she's taken, and retained his intellect as well as his love for her when she threw him into the Wyrmwound. She isn't soft for him, she is strong, a pillar for him to lean against, something for him to strive towards, something to be strong for. She likes her lovers to be strong, Largo does his best to be what she likes.

Mother's Favorite

Menace thinks herself the best of The Grown. As the eldest, she was able to stake her claim on this land before the others, a fact she will not allow them to forget. She finds her siblings lacking, weak, and she suspects Mother favors her. Little does Menace know that The Plaguebringer isn't even watching anymore.
