Lyre was raised by the magically animated statue of a God. Which resulted in them being very socially awkward and introverted. They literally have no clue how to interact with other dragons and sentient beings.
Before joining the Ruinquill Clan, Lyre was an Archivist and Guardian for an ancient Light library dedicated to Lightweaver. The Library was attacked and destroyed by a band of rogues looking for an artifact fabled to be there. Heavily injured and their home burned to the ground, Lyre escaped with Mother.
Chased by the rouges, who were convinced they had the artifact, they escaped through Shadow territory and were eventually found by the Ruinquill Clan unconcious and being fiercely protected by Mother.
They quickly became part of the Clan and have a permanent place as the Clan's main Archivist.
