Biography
Note: Lore below is old lore for my lair. It is no longer accurate.
---
wildclaws are typically not invited to be a member of the Waldzahne clan for their feisty attitude as a breed. the waldzahne clan is usually very laid back and relaxed, only ever fighting for practice or for play.
during a quick hunt & gather, haizea's egg was found on the ashy shoreline of the Flintlock Fuamroles, damaged with several cracks, though the egg itself was healthy. waldzahne was unsure of what breed this egg belonged to, as they have never seen the egg of a wildclaw before.
asking many dragons of sornieth, no parent claimed the egg that they had found. unsure of what to do with the egg, calypso and ragnarok agreed that waldzahne had too many mouths to feed at the time. however, sonoma expressed sudden interest in the egg when the idea of discarding the egg was introduced to conversation.
calypso and ragnarok agreed to allow sonoma to raise whatever dragon would hatch from the egg - whether it be a fae or ridgeback - the egg belongs to her.
she was quick to stuff it into a bag and keep it warm with several pelts - an egg found in the hottest region on sornieth should be kept warm!
at the time, sonoma and clock were a pair - clock, however, was left back to guard the territory of the clan. he had no clue that sonoma agreed to take care of a child they didn't make themselves. how would he react?
he was.. fine with it! luckily for him, he was able to determine the egg belonged to the wildclaw breed - which caused the conversation to grow sour. sonoma and clock both insisted they'd raise the dragon to be well behaved, as wildclaws are usually loud and feisty.
when haizea hatched, it seemed that she had a permanent limp in her back right leg - likely the result of her damaged egg. she could fly perfectly fine and walk normal, but had to live her life daily with a limp. it seemed like she wasn't able to fully extend her leg to keep herself level, though this didn't stop her from doing daily activities.
as time went on, haizea was one of the quietest tribe members, though despite her silence, she was very smart. it didn't take very long for haizea to learn the daily routine of waldzahne and become part of the clan itself, proving her intelligence when it came to solutions to problems or offering advice when it was needed.
she practiced medicine with Orbis, waldzahne's miracle dragon that broke her layer of stone after a curse was set upon her.
learning from the best meant that haizea would have no problem passing her knowledge to new members or other clans or tribes - which she didn't hesitate to do!
however, as haizea aged, the desire to have a family of her own was almost overwhelming. clock and sonoma have since raised two small clutches (despite i havent actually bred them). many other tribe members have also raised a few more clutches, though all the children seem to stick around just long enough until they're ready to find a mate for themselves.
embarrassed from her limp and poor social experience, haizea was left to believe she would never find herself a mate to have a family with. haizea eventually grew entirely silenced, her friendly demeanor quickly shifted to a more reserved, uninterested personality. the change deeply upset clock and sonoma, begging to know what was wrong, though they received nothing but silence.
haizea was lonely.
