As guardian spirits of the Starwood Strand, Starsoul and Woodsheart love all their children equally -- including the trees. These veilspun have a unique connection with both the sky above and the forest below, a talent for the Arcane, and a great respect for the natural -- and magical -- world around them.

Ask Florakiller about his name, and he'll roll his eyes. "So what if I killed one tree one time. I just forgot to water it or, like, whatever." But remember, the trees of the Starwood Strand are sacred to his parents, sacred to his family; Starsoul and Woodsheart would no more forget to care for them than they would abandon their hatchlings. And maybe that was why Florakiller neglected his duty, in the end; maybe he just wanted to see which was more important in his parents' eyes, the tree or their son.

As it turned out, it was the tree.
