Kureha Yuna
"Everyone, lay down your weapons at once!"

+ Promised Blood clan founder A veteran fighter, and one of the three leaders of a small clan known as Promised Blood. Their days of bloody wars in the Cinderslag- of needing to fight tooth and claw for what little resources they could gather- are behind them, but they remain banded together to support one another. Whether they’re training, hunting, fending off invaders, or just playing, Yuna and her clanmates always have each other’s backs. Though her life is mostly peaceful now, the years of famine and violence that she battled to survive left deep scars on her psyche. She’s haunted by flashbacks of the deaths and tragedies that took place, and still gets frightened sometimes that these wars could happen again. She may be a proud and charismatic leader, and she made for a ferocious warlord during the old clan wars, but she’s a very kind dragon at heart. She loved everyone too much and too deeply to bear the horrible fate that befell her territory- especially having to kill other dragons with her own fangs. 
She’s unusually small for an Obelisk- only about the size of a hatchling- and very frail. Her face looks perpetually exhausted, likely due to the seemingly-permanent dark circles under her eyes from lack of sleep. Still, she’s surprisingly warm and friendly-- even a little cheeky at times. While she always tries to deny it when it gets brought up, she loves to spoil her clanmates with gifts. She considers each and every one of them a friend. Juri, a hotheaded Guardian, is her mate. They began as enemies back in their youth, always fighting for control over their territory... but they were friends, too, and grew closer over the course of these battles. When Yuna founded Promised Blood to fight for the future of everyone in their territory, Juri joined as a co-leader right alongside her, willing to follow the Obelisk- whom Juri came to realize was her Charge- wherever she goes. Now that the wars they led together are over, Juri and Yuna are more inseparable than ever, having a bond so strongly forged that not even the Shade could break it. (Yuna also thinks it’s adorable when Juri tries to be romantic. The Guardian isn’t exactly good at it, tending to take date ideas from cheesy love stories and then getting flustered before she can properly ask Yuna out, but it’s cute to see such a rough-and-tumble delinquent try so hard.) random notes for lore/etc.:
- mane is very silky; almost never gets tangled at all. she spends a lot of time on upkeep for it.
- doesn't bare her fangs often, but they are incredibly sharp
- speaks in a rather formal, somewhat "rich old lady" kind of way
- voice is dry and quiet
- suffers from insomnia. can't sleep unless she has something to cuddle with, whether that's one of her favorite plushies or Juri.
- her favorite flavor of ice cream is mint
- the shortest dragon in her friend group
