Lucian was born in the Windswept Plateau and spent his early years drifting wherever the wind took him. But he's found a place he calls home. He is mate of Lumi, the leader of the Sunburst Sanctuary clan. Ever the optimist, he never fails to cheer up his tired mate. His genial nature and positive attitude help his mate to relax and enjoy the simplicity of living in the present moment. He is happy that she is happy being with him, and couldn’t ask for a more loving and devoted life partner.

Like his mate, Lucian takes on many duties, doing whatever needs to get done. He'll scout, hunt, forage, mine, mediate a dispute, tend to the hatchlings, or care for the elders, all with equal enthusiasm. He loves his clan and dedicates himself to making sure that everyone's needs are met. He has to be careful that he isn't overworking himself, which would just cause his mate to worry. His friend Sparkle keeps an eye on the leader pair to make sure that they take time for themselves.

A doting father, Lucian feels blessed to have Lucina and Lustre as his children.
