Loon Cruickshank
The Runaway
A rather unhinged, wild dragon with racing thoughts and difficulty coming up with the correct words - she can scarcely explain things sometimes, and when excited or stressed delves into word salad, though Ori can usually manage to figure out what she's trying to say. She claims to speak to ghosts, but the other dragons in the clan who can do so don't see Loon's ghosts. Ori thinks she may actually be talking directly to the moons, or receiving messages from them - Dreaming while she's awake, like he and others in the clan do.
Loon met Rodric while falsely incarcerated in a gaoler holding prison, suspected of shade harboring for her peculiar nature. She has no clue what caused the distraction that gave her time to escape, but she found Rodric after digging her way out of her cell and decided to drag his shivering, anxious self along with her. Hunter and Cactus found the runaways while out hunting and brought them home, knowing they would find safety with the Big Chill Clan.
While once wary of Blistig, she's grown fond of him after he risked his life and lost his place in gaoler society defending her and Rodric from their captors.
