Marston

Marston is an ancient dragon whose skill with glass is unmatched among his peers. He carefully cuts and sets pieces into colorful mosaics of stained glass and has developed many types of glass specialized for specific purposes. Perhaps his greatest achievement was his contribution to the clan's multi-tiered great Greenhouse. The above ground levels each had panels built specifically for the flora and fauna they housed, and a series of mirrors diverted the light needed for the plants kept underground or merely to help the residents see their way around, keeping the need for torches to a minimum.

He also makes all the glassware and beakers Evika uses as well as countless works of art such as windchimes, stained glass and baubles, hanging those he's proudest of around the gardens. It is in the garden that he spends his free time, drawing inspiration from the beauty of flowers and trees and even lending a claw around the garden when his kilns are cooled.

While happy to provide his fine creations to the clan, he puts the requests of Evika and her staff above all others, and is most eager to please them, perhaps to ensure Evika never forbids entry to the greenhouse to him, though his work was so appreciated by Evika that he was offered a habitat with the other residents in the Greenhouse. If criticism or displeasure is expressed with his work, he is infamous for smashing the offending piece at the critic's feet and demanding they try to do better. The few who do try usually fail miserably, while the many who back down are astounded when he uses the shattered glass to create a work of art twice as beautiful as the one before.
