Swirling a set of chopsticks around a porcelain bowl, her left head let out a small hiss. Look where that got her. “The only good thing to come from that is our new diet,” the left muttered, lifting a bit of shredded poultry to her lips. The right head perked up; “and our larger size.”

The left swallowed a sharp retort, and with it, some chicken. “Maybe.” Resting the chopsticks against the side of the bowl, she looked back on her old self. It’s true she always dreamed of growing larger than both her parents combined, hatching as a fae and all, but having her conscious cloned was not a part of that dream.
