Zenara once was a member of House of Dreams, but she deserted to being a part of House of Shadows instead. To do so, she faked her own death.

As a prior and former Dreamer, she emphasizes on predictions and works as “The Oracle” for House of Shadows. Due to that, she usually works alone, sleeping and trying to reach deep and transcendental phases of the dream itself, where she tries to find a new war strategy, new information or where she just plays with extreme and weird possibilities. She alone was the best Dreamer dragon due to her ability for long stays in a dream, as her ability to fantasize with those situations.

Said possibilities attach the defeat of House of Shadows, a process that includes execution, torture, and public humiliation. Every dream is a vivid dream for her, so she not only enjoys the good ones, but she also suffers with the bad or “nightmare” ones. The immediate consequences of a bad dream reflects on her physical efficiency; headaches, muscles that become stiff and muscular pain, among others. On a mental level, she can feel disoriented and she’s unable to process reality for a long time, her memory still stuck in a fantasy.

However, some Shadow members believe that those bad dreams or nightmares have altered her mind, changing to a masochist and reckless one. Some of them believe that those dreams have pushed her to experience something very similar in the reality; she involved herself with a House of War member, to a point she tricks him and rouses lower passions between them.

The only one that seems to understand that feeling, the feeling of risk, excitement, and s*x pleasure when their identities are in danger, is Lingon. He, in fact, gifted her with a woeful footpads; a pair of daggers that Zenara hides with her overcoat. So, in a dangerous situation, she can stab other dragons and not only attack or defend herself with illusionary magic.
