Daeil
Mate: Solar Familiar: Byungho In the Icelands, you may stumble across a little Coatl playing in the glaciers, making ice forts and throwing snowballs at wee hatchlings. Daeil has become the child of the clan, along with his best friend, Kisu. Although they are polar opposites, they are known as “The Twins”. Kisu tends to be very serious, dealing with small fights in the clan while Daeil will most likely crack awful puns. “Come one everyone, just chill out!” “There’s no need to be so chilly!!” “C’mon guys don’t give me the cold shoulder.” And as you would guess it, everyone collectively groans at the coatls awful jokes. Daeil is incredibly friendly, but his pranks and childish personality often become a little annoying for his family – such as painting the tips of some of the Elders tails while they sleep when they have important meeting in the morning, moving random objects within the lair to the other side of the room, causing a small morning mayhem and jumping on the others in morning as if it’s Christmas day; but he is easily forgivable with a smile that melts hearts and his squeaky laughter. Through his thick layer of immaturity, he has a heart of gold, for if he annoys a certain dragon too much he will take it upon himself to go out to the markets or lakes for hours, hunting the dragons favourite food to bring it back with a handwritten heartfelt letter. His juvenile personality may get the best of him sometimes, but he is endearing – once his mind is set on something, the job will be done; and this is a reason of why he is the heir to the throne of the clan. If anything were to happen to Ghun, the leadership would be passed down. His job is running errands to and from clans. One day, when walking through the ice forest where the trees were dead and no leaves were to be seen, he heard a small yelp from a small red-breasted Hainu – not natural to these lands. He bent down, rummaging through his satchel and offered out a snack from his hand; the Hainu looked up at him, big eyed, taking the food cautiously, gulping it down in one bite. Daeil leaned forward slowly, patting the top of his head. The coatl had to leave and return to the clan and as he walked off, his new friend followed him back, they have been inseparable ever since.
