Biography
"On a scale of 1 to 10, how easily do you think I can hypnotize that Banescale?" Fester asked.
"Negative 42," Rosk said without even looking up from his cards.
"Ugh, you're no fun."
An orphan living hidden within Hellwell Undercroft, Fester was okay with being alone. At least that was the lie he told himself until crossing paths with another Veilspun named Rosk. Nowadays, he has a hard time getting enough company, and frequently visits the dragons living in the chalcedony mountain beneath the cliffs bordering the Plague and Arcane territories. Fester tells anyone who asks that he is spying on those dragons to make sure they don't try to push the border without anyone noticing. Nobody has yet asked them if they ever plan to do that.
It was through these "reconnaissance missions" that Fester first saw Rot Hunter, and he immediately fell in love. Unfortunately for him, Rot Hunter is already dedicated to his mate, and regards him as more of an curious little dragon and a source of information on how Plague dragons exist. That has yet to deter Fester's advances.
A diseased scorpion has taken to following Fester around, much both his and Rosk's confusion. Rosk claims that it means the Plaguebringer wants him to do something, while Fester believes it is a sign he should keep trying to woo Rot Hunter. If the scorpion could talk, it would probably contradict them both. Until they figure out what it wants, it plans to hang around and occasionally eat Fester's hidden food caches.
