Apophis

Apophis is a retired assassin, having gotten tired of ending lives. While he doesn't advertise his past to his clan mates, he makes no real effort to hide it, and will answer plainly when asked. He didn't particularly want to become an assassin in the first place, it was simply the easiest way for him to make a living at the time.

Apophis was an incredibly successful assassin, however, this was not entirely because of his own skills. He acquired something of a "living weapon" from a... less than reputable shadow flight mage. This shadowy construct attaches itself to its host and acts on their will, while at the same time draining their energy. The drain isn't significant, though Apophis does eat and sleep a bit more than the average dragon to make up for it. Nowadays, he just puts it to use defending his clan.
