Caradeg is our messenger to the Icewarden. He makes sure that everyone can publicly see our spending, what we offer, and spreads the word of our services. He also makes sure to bring back any news or current happenings in the rest of the world. Usually, he just sends letters of stories and new residents. He checks in with authorities to make sure that we are not housing anyone whom they may be investigating. He wants to be a positive influence on the outside media, and makes sure that everyone gets a good personal look inside.
Caradeg was originally assigned to report on our progress as a shelter when we were first funded. He initially was very hesitant on taking on this job, as he did not have very much faith that we would become sustainable. (Many others' did not have much faith either, so we don't take it personally.) After staying for six months, he sent in the request to become a permanent in-house reporter. And we appreciate every minute he's here!
