Personality
Stranger is a dragon with very erratic behavior. Being two separate dragons with their own hobbies, interests, and personalities, and VERY different ones at that, it's easy for them to get into hour-long fights over who gets to use the body for the day. Like all abberations, Stranger is a force to be reckoned with when in sync with each other, however this tends not to be the case. Deviant is the type to prefer to avoid combat, while Anomaly is the much more trigger-happy of the two, readily willing to jump into fights regardless of whether or not they have a chance. The only reason Anomaly isn't dead a hundred times over is because Deviant is charming in that lost puppy sense, where you just feel bad for him for having to share a body with her.
However, that's not to say Anomaly is cruel, or that Deviant is innocent. They are two sides of the same coin, and that makes itself known when they get hyperfixated. Anomaly has strong ADHD and Borderline symptoms, though whose to say she could be properly "diagnosed" with it, including the concept of a "favorite person", in dragon form of course. She tends to get very distressed when Rhodonite is absent from her line of sight, which is quite taxing on both Garnet and Deviant, as both are introverted. Deviant and Garnet tend to sleep while Rose and Anomaly chat the night away, and though Anomaly and Deviant have always taken shifts for sleeping due to their upbringing, Rose and Garnet have begun adopting this habit for Anomaly's sake.
That's not to say their relationship is easy. Anomaly is rather self-aware as a person and in her flaws, but she obviously still struggles to deal with them. Just because she knows she has a problem doesn't mean she knows how to cope with it. Rose is a little too nice and guilt-riddled to tell Anomaly no to spending time together, and it's neither of their faults, perse, Anomaly is not the consciously manipulative type, but sometimes the things she says or does unintentionally come off as guilt-trippy, and it's not intentional, it's just something she's always done. "How she was raised", so to speak.
