Iribis is the most intelligent dragons in the lair, as well as one of the more beautiful ones. She is respected for both her knowledge and appearances, but she couldn't be more oblivious to this. Thinking of herself as 'just another Spiral', she questions why her clan-mates are constantly asking her for advice and help counting their treasures (though she doesn't decline).
Along with being the go-to dragon for various mind-boggling issues, Irbis is also Seisyl's assistant as ambassador to the beastclans. While her partner goes about communicating with the clans, Irbis is in charge of negotiating trades and the exchange of currency. She sees this as an adventure, whereas most of her clanmates are intimidated by and scared of the beastclans.
When not visiting the beastclans, she can usually be found counting out various treasures, solving puzzles, attempting to teach the hatchlings, and writing or drawing pictures to chronicle her many travels.
During one of her many trips to the various beastclans, she encountered a Tourmaline Vulstal kit, whom she quickly befriended and took in as her familiar. Since Irbis raised her from a young age, they are very close and are virtually inseparable. After perusing her books and mulling for a few weeks, Irbis decided to name the kit Gossamer.
Recently she has developed a crush on Ixchel. Up until now, she thought that she would never be interested in anyone due to her passion for her work.
They have been exchanging jewelry lately and are considered a couple by most of the clan.
