Traveling to the Other World wasn't anything difficult. The young Mushelisk found it fascinating, really, crawling from the ruins of a crumbled building he had sprouted from, looking around the new setting. The glowing lights of the world around him filled his head with a sudden whoosh, gleaming eyes brightening further in color at the strange, two-legged creatures bustling about under the night sky.
Slinking into the shadows, the gleaming Mushelisk hatchling toddles off into the unknown, drawn by the stars and the neon city lights.
A sudden blast of noise has him jumping, leaping high into the night air with a startled cry, before hurriedly hiding under some black, bulging masses as a Twoleg looked towards his direction. The creature seemed to glance around before shrugging, heading further off down the pathway. The hatchling soon followed, as the Twoleg was headed straight towards the noise that had startled it.
It wasn't sure what the noise was, but it sounded interesting; deep, long twangs, beating hearts, crashing cymbals -
was this music?
Oh how delighted the hatchling was, scuttling closer to what seemed to be a glowing box with moving colors, listening closer to the music that played. The tone of it changed, a heavy strumming entering the chorus, along with an array of... well, he couldn't really describe it.
A few Twolegs stood nearby, nodding along to the music.
"私はこれがまだ私の好きなDream Theaterの曲かもしれないと思います！" One utters to another, and the hatchling perked up.
Dream Theater... Dream Theater...
That was a nice name.
Yes, the perfect name.
