Biography
Viego ☼ Ringmaster
☼ He/Him
☼ Straight
.................................................................................
☼ While Morgana has reconnected with him after splitting from their sister, Kayle, Viego does tend to drive Morgana up a wall a bit, and they tend to act in shorter conversations. ☼ Viego tends to use a lot of big words, in an attempt to sound smarter than he really is. His knowledge is limited to how to garner attention and put on a show, however. ☼ Though he is the one with the title of ringmaster, Viego shares the ownership and command of the Shadow Isles Circus with Isolde. She makes most of the smart decisions. |
☼ personality ☼
............................................
Viego is a high energy and demanding dragon, with a slightly oversized ego, and is unafraid to back down from a challenge. Underneath all the petty dramatics, however, is a dragon who just wants to be around friends and family at all times. While a lot to put up with, he has a few close friends and a loving partner, Isolde.
While he can be self-centered, Viego loves to spoil those that he cares about with gifts and attention as well, though sometimes he doesn't listen when they say he wants to be alone.

☼ ambitions ☼
............................................
Viego's driven by an intense need to be adored and surrounded by praise, and is very willing to work for it, though that just means putting on a show. Surprisingly willing to listen to feedback, Viego isn't above trying to better himself or his means of attention grabbing.
Deeply invested in the health of his friends and family, Viego is planning on running his circus through the Tangled Wood for the sake of Isolde.

............................................ ☼ background ☼ ............................................
The oldest son of Cherry, Necro, Chantlily, and Thea, Viego was always near at least one of his parents, getting spoiled rotten by them; with often his mothers trying to outdo his fathers in terms of parenting. While the four didn't mean to make both him and his sister, Kayle, spoiled, it was the result, and Viego grew accustomed to the constant pampering, getting it in his head that he needed everyone to nearly worship the ground he walked on.
Some time later, a clutch was born between Pumpkin and Duena, all three of the hatchlings staying in the clan. Like himself, the three were spoiled relentlessly by their father and grandparents, the leaders of the clan, though thanks to the family not going to fair, they ended up being far less egotistical. Still, Viego and Isolde, the youngest of the clutch, became fast friends; and with her came the slightly distrustful companionship of Gwen and the slightly annoying companionship of Hallow; the older sister wanting to be sure that Viego wasn't going to do anything to Isolde, and the brother simply wanting to be near his sisters. Gwen eventually realized that Viego, despite his frustrating personality, had no bad intentions, and started to focus on her own interests, and Hallow eventually just stopped coming around as the clan got bigger and bigger, leading to the anxious dragon spending more and more time with his noggles. Despite his frequent whining about the odd dragon, Viego found himself missing Hallow's presence.
For a long time, Viego had a rivalry with another egotistical skydancer named Monarch, which only ended when Monarch decided that he simply had enough, and went to serve the Earthshaker himself. While Viego was initially relieved that the rival was gone, a small part of him found himself missing Monarch, who had pushed him to learn how to put on a better show, and whose attention had been greatly appreciated, though taken for granted.
In an honest and unusually vulnerable conversation with Morgana, his younger sibling, Viego was given the idea to start up a travelling circus, which would give him the attention he wanted in a healthier way. And if the circus traveled the Tangled Woods primarily, then it would allow Isolde, who still hadn't adjusted to being in a different region as well; a problem that had been affecting all of the shadow-born fae, though Isolde was struggling the most still; to be in her home region. While he had stayed in the clan and had ultimately voted to move to Dragonhome, it had simply been since that was the popular vote, and the skydancer had hoped it would grant him more attention; and in reality he missed his home a great deal as well. Getting some starting funds from Baskor, with the promise that a small percentage of the circus' earnings would go to the clan, Viego and Isolde set out to start forming a trope. They immediately gained the volunteer of Raymond, a newer addition to the clan who hadn't yet found a spot for himself; the wildclaw offering his familiarity with the intended region after a recent trip with his (complicated) partner, Veronica. And while Raymond was still unprepared to officially join the troupe, Viego agreed to let him join, when he felt ready.
