"I will never hold a cigarette in my claws as long as I live"

Jadis was born in a Plague Clan. When she hatchled, the entire nest of hatchlings ran away. Although Jadis rarely talks about what happened to her bothers and sisters. Young Jadis ended up in Alligator Clan, a Water Flight clan. The dragons came looking for the run away kiddos, but when Jadis was found, she had established ownership of Allligator Clan through a crossroads deal. Haven, Alpha female of Alligator Clan granted her residency of Alligator Clan under one condition, that she cooperated with her home clan in the search for her brothers and sisters. Alligator Clan has no record on how that went, Jadis was eventually given residency. From there she worked her way up.

In college Jadis developed a smoking habit. Her first job was a deckhand in the Alligator Clan Navy. The Alligator Clan military payed her way through college. In the military she met a nocturne who also came to Alligator Clan as a run away. His name was Pine. Pine was also a student at ACUF, and in the same graduating class as Jadis. Shortly after graduation, Pine was sent off to fight in a war. Jadis stayed behind and was raised by Haven, the current Alpha female leader. Haven knew that Jadis was in love with Pine and actually came from the same clan as him. By then, Pine was the next in line to be Alpha Male leader and with Haven the current Alpha Female, the opportunity was there. Jadis is only the second Alpha Female leader to be a military vet. Although neither dragon's military rank changed since taken leadership, Jadis and Pine are the first pair of leaders to both be military veterans.































Although the tundra has not been promoted since she became Alpha Female of AC, Jadis was once commissioned as a deck hand of a ship belonging to her home clan during a mission to find a mission ship. After the mission, the tundra resigned her commission and returned to AC as her role as Alpha Female. Pine, her mate wanted to get her promoted, but the request was denied. The final verdict stated that as long as she was AC Alpha Female, she was not elgibile for promotion. This was suppose to avoid any conflict of interest.

Tiny had to have his fire breathing gland removed due to lung cancer from smoking cigars. The tundra keeps this drawing in her profile as a reminder of her will power to never hold a cigarette again.







Jadis Biography

Born in a Plague Fight clan (RCW) As an unnamed young tundra and her siblings ran away from home as a young nameless hatchlings. She came to Alligator Clan under a crossroads trade deal which she got herself into. Her home clan spent days looking for her and her siblings until she was discovered to be in Alligator Clan. Haven , the AC Alpha Female ordered her to cooperate with the investigation to find her siblings which her former clan was at the time still searching for. The young tundra was very sad when she found out her siblings. "I never meant for anyone to get hurt" the young tundra cried. "All I wanted was to go to college at a Flight University with a reputation and to be a student at ACUF" that was her goal.

Alpha Haven lectured her about discipline and explained that the university had rules which she would have to follow if she ever got excepted at all. However, currently she was too young and without a name, another requirement to enter the university. Over the next few days, the young tundra sneaked on board "Trident" a brand new ocean ship which had been purchased by Alligator Clan. A spiral named Ironduke who was the ship's deck hand at the time discovered she was on the ship during the ship's maiden voyage to Churnscar Wharf. During the trip the tundra became close to Ironduke and when the ship docked at Churnscar Warf, Haven was there and she knew she was going to be in trouble. The young tundra begged Haven to show mercy on her and allow her to stay with Ironduke. Eventually, AC had gotten word that her siblings have been found and because of the crossroads trade deal, they excepted that she now belonged to Alligator Clan.

"Yippie" the tundra yelled in excitement. The first stage of her life goal had been achieved. After farther thought, Haven decided to allow her to stay with Ironduke on the Trident which she eventually enrolled in the Alligator Clan's military and landed Ironduke's job as the ship's deckhand after Ironduke got promoted to Relief Captain and the duke gave her the name Jadis. Her dream to get in college was almost complete. There was only one thing in her way. ACUF had recently added a requirement of being a level 7 coliseum grinder to be excepted to avoid the massive drop outs. Jadis had never been in the coliseum much less battled.

The day came when Ironduke would send her into her first coliseum battle. "I'm scared" Jadis cried. "You gotta do this if you want to get into ACUF" retorted the duke. Jadis dodged getting any hits for three battles as the other two team members took down the beast clans until a molten toad showed up. When it was her turn, the team waited for her to attack but eventually Jadis ran. The team was upset and Ironduke questioned her why she backed down. "That was a molten toad" retorted Jadis. Once again Ironduke had to convince her to go back which was not easy, but the spiral was able to talk her into going back. She reached level 6 and took her first hit from a Southmarsh Podid. The podid was the only one left for the team to take down and the fear got the best of her and the ended up loosing the battle. That was the last draw. Jadis came home once again crying that she was scared. "You cannot give up now." Ironduke fussed "You are only one level away from reaching the required level to get into ACUF. If you quit now, you will regret it for the rest of you life. Now, most rookie grinders do not survive as many battles as you did. Now get back in the coliseum and finish what you started." Jadis once again returned to the coliseum and got knocked down again. "GET UP!" screamed Ironduke "DON'T GIVE UP NOW YOU ARE SO CLOSE." The tundra opened her eyes and looked at the spiral who had been like a father to her then took a look at the enemy. With a little hesitation, she was back up and ready. The battle went on and she went down again. Again Ironduke screamed at her to keep going and this time she got back up. "That is the last time I am going down" retorted Jadis as Ironduke cheered "Go get em" The battle came with another victory for her team and the numbers were changing. The tundra watched as her stats went up hoping to reach level 7 and as it slowed down it finally read that she was a level 7 grinder. "YES" screamed the tundra "WE DID IT." "No" retorted Ironduke "You did it. Now you can submit you application to ACUF."

The next few days Jadis spent studying for the entrance exam to ACUF and was not on the Trident for the voyage from Churnscar Wharf to Ashfall where the ship will dock near Magma Sanctum. After taking the exam, Jadis returned to the Trident for the voyage to Atlanta Island where Alligator Clan's surface outpost was. While on that voyage. a seagull landed on the bow of the ship with a scroll addressed to Jadis. It was from ACUF. The tundra picked up and nervously read the message inside. Her head dropped as she began to screm "Ironduke" she ran around the ship looking for the spiral until she found him hear the bridge. "Ironduke, I got excepted to ACUF, I am a officially a freshmen." Ironduke was so proud that she had worked her way. "That is great Jadis." Ironduke congratulated her "But your dream is far from complete. Nine out of 10 dragons that get in do not graduate. If you want to be in the 10% that graduate, you will have to study hard."
