Uh-oh, looks like this winemaker wandered a little too far from her home lair (grxndsxn, 437722), and now she's off to see the world! If you ever feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off to See the World' thread. If you don't want another traveler in return, you can also drop her off at the Traveling Dragon Rest Hub!
Vinnery would like to receive a permanent home someday, so if you'd like to adopt her after she's been travelling long enough, just let her owner know! |
Vinnery has been helping make wine ever since she was a young adult, and now she seeks to spread her knowledge!
She came to the Sunbeam Lanternhouse, where she learned its residents had an interest in drinking good wine, but none in making it - Yuzuki informed her that they had a supplier.
Though a bit at loose ends, she decided to hang around and meet this supplier. She wasn't disappointed; Vinicio had a well-refined palette - better than her own! - and he didn't mind talking shop with her. They spent a few evenings together, tasting his wares, and she learned a lot.
When he took his leave once more, she thanked him profusely and continued her journey.
Vinnery arrived at Clan Sparkfyre after she headed into the Shifting Expanse in search of the kind of rocky land where grapes thrive. Unfortunately for her, this part of the desert is too sandblasted for grapes. But Clan Sparkfyre does love both partying and experimentation so they welcomed her with open arms and sent the hatchlings into the desert to gather prickly pears for her to make wine with. They also showed her how they made spirits from agave.
Her fruit wine was a big success with the clan but it didn't satisfy Vinnery's more sophisticated pallet and after staying with them for a season she moved on.
