Biography

It was warm inside the egg, but today it was just, well, cramped. Extremely so. The little banescale inside was afraid he would accidentally break something with his hard armor on his skull and back. Then he started hearing noises outside. He had only known silence and the soft bubbling of whatever was keeping him warm. These noises were different. Strange. Intriguing. He had to know what was out there. Rearing back his head as far as he could, he slammed his horns into the side of the wall. It gave in, warm light nearly blinding the bane as it flooded the small egg.
Soft claws helped him out of the egg, their owner being a large brown dragon. Looking down from her grasp, he could see three other banes all looking older than him. One was already nipping at a slightly younger one, the youngest of the three sludging through the warm liquid rock. Besides the nest was a bright pink dragon looking kinda like the brown one, only much smaller and had more of a beak. “You sure you want this one Dreamboat?” “Oh absolutely Sulphite!” The more colorful dragon happily took and held the little banescale, the two now walking towards another area. The brown was left behind for a moment.

Up above, he heard a soft chuckle. Craning his neck back as far as he could without tipping over into the warm liquid rock, he could see the face of a much, much larger brown dragon. Surprised by her size, the banescale fell over. That didn’t stop him for long, however, as he soon heard a crack from one of the other eggs. Waddling over, the banescale was met by a skull-encased head. He had accidentally head-butted him, the two just as surprised as the other. He went to nip at the other male, another crack halting both of them. Out of the third egg came another female skulled bane, the fourth beginning to crack open as well. There was another dragon in the cave as well, who scooped up the fourth dragon before heading out of the cave.
PP1 as he was currently called was tussling with his brother, PP2, with their younger sister on the sidelines. The sound of footsteps approached, their Guardian Sulphite coming into the cave accompanied by a weird, somewhat fluffy and long dragon. "Pastels!" Sulphite called in a loving manner, getting the attention of the three. Considering she often brought food, they quickly came over and sat their haunches down. "Alright. Hollykit, this one here is PP1." Turning back to the hatchlings, "It's time to say goodbye you three. Your older brother is going to serve another clan and bring honor to ou-" The lack of disinterest of the bane made the Guardian chuckle, she stopping him from trying to chase the tuft of fur on the Imperial's tail. "He's all yours Hollykit."
