Aspiring Aviator

Phoenix is often heard long before they are seen, an energetic and eternally determined dragon with a love of flight. Ah, but not just any type of flight, non-winged flight! Many dragons had asked Phoenix why they were so obsessed with flying without wings when flying with them was so much easier. Phoenix never gave much of a real answer, usually they just grinned and got back to work on their latest model.

The dragon, born of light, is much more at home among the flames. Combining that with a recklessness that borders dangerous means that Phoenix should generally never be allowed near fire. Ever. One too many incidents eventually got them kicked out of their lair and forced them to find a new home. The ice region was the last possible region Phoenix ever imagined living in, but something about this clan really spoke to them. Of course, there's still plenty of fire among the glacier. Dragons need to stay warm somehow!

To this day, Phoenix continues to work hard on their planes, each one ever so slightly more successful than the last. That is, as long as they don't crash into a nearby mountain. Again.
