Biography
Aggementis is a designer. She helps her friends with their spaces sometimes, but mostly, she does it just for herself and her wife, Calcides. Their apartment in Kessel Hights is in a loft, with the high ceilings and skylights giving the space lots of air and light. The bedroom is kept very simple and zen, but the living room indulges in a bit more color, mostly by way of copious amounts of house plants. Calcides really, really loves plants. There are also a few knickknacks on shelves: childhood photos, a dried wedding bouquet, a wood carving from a friend, a bit of artwork done by a young niece. The kitchen is kept bare-bones and functional, and their balcony is covered in more plants and features a wood fire oven that they often use when they have get-togethers with their friends.
Aggementis is missing her tail due to an old injury, but has learned how to balance just fine without it. She also has eyes tattooed on her face from a wilder youth - though she still likes them and doesn't regret them at all. She likes scarves and muted colors, and also likes to make art with simple ink brush strokes. Simple, but very carefully thought out. She sells some of her art work at the tea shop that she helps her wife run, and some of it she gives to friends. Though she's quite happy with her life in the city, her dream is to eventually buy an old country chateau and completely renovate it, restoring it to it's original beauty (with some new insight). They could turn it into a guest house, and serve Calcides' tea and kombucha to their tenets. Maybe when they're ready to retire... Calcides says that it sounds like a whole lot more work than a tea house, which might not make it the best venture for when they're old. Aggementis just waves away this concern with a dreamy wave of her paw.
"We'll have children to help us by then, anyway," she says.
Calcides chokes on her tea, and Aggementis laughs and laughs.
