Biography

From a young age, Jeevas admired Mello. He was strong-willed, driven, and quickly hedged everything out of his life that may slow him down on his way to the top. As such, he demanded that his chosen playmates and companions keep up at all times and not be dead weight.

Sure that he would dismiss her as being inferior if she approached him directly, Jeevas sought her own ways of standing out to the strongheaded golden boy, reworking and tailoring her personality into what she believed he would find useful in a companion. Jeevas's efforts paid off as Mello began to endure her company, assuming her to be another male.

As they grew older, Mello had sloughed off most of his hatchling friends, though Jeevas remained close, constantly adapting her persona to stay useful. They remained inseparable companions until a falling-out with Wammy drove Mello from the lair for parts unknown. While Jeevas was not worried, knowing that Mello, of all dragons, was able to look out for himself, the severed contact was painful.

To fill the void of one bad habit that had stormed out of her life, Jeevas sought others. She began to thieve from other dragons' nests, hoarding her ill-gotten supplies away for herself in hidden caches. When the neighboring clans, wise to the idea there was a thief in their midst, began to seek more secure ways of guarding their food stores, Jeevas equally sought more ways to bypass their efforts.

By the time she heard from Mello again, Jeevas had honed her skills into those of a skilled thief, legendary and yet nameless among the Glade Keeper's forests. Her partner, badly burned following a failed dominance push for the Windsinger, had dragged himself back to the glades they had played among as children, seeking refuge from the one person he felt he could unquestioningly trust.

Jeevas brought him to an underground cave containing a good portion of her stolen supplies, and nursed him back to health over a few weeks. Mello, while unwilling to admit he was grateful, confided in the younger imp that "he" was the best friend he'd ever had. Jeevas, in turn, confided something - her true identity.
