Quodun

Quodun Storm Kestrel was dug up out of a series of caves under the sands around the Fire-Lightning border during an extended reconnaissance survey. He claims to have been born in a bygone age, and his stories about the layout of the land seem to match up well enough. Most of his time had been spent in the wilds living as he liked and fighting encroaching threats, so no one can be sure. He has an outgoing and battle-eager personality, always delighted for an opportunity to show off his skills and do what he does best. A notable thing is that Quodun can turn into a metal-rich stone that conducts electricity; he seems to have managed states of partial petrification, using his hardened metallic limbs charged with his elemental attacks to pound and fry the enemy.

The clan's engineers & co. very much want to research this, but it seems that his horns and bones carry varying amounts of magnetic charge that have the potential to mess with or completely destroy any delicate electrical instruments. This drives them absolutely nuts and is an ongoing source of frustration, amusement, and despair in the more enterprising parts of the lair.
