Mosaic and Glimmer instead of Bar?

He is very serious, takes his duty so seriously. Bad at social anything. Talks and elaborates on anything and everything to a maddening degree.
Shamelessly based off Genos in personality. Except with bit less of the rudeness and complete disregard of anyone who isn't Saitama lol. I'm sure more bits unique to him will emerge too.

Welcome to the Windmarrow Clan
It was summer and Hemlock was curled around his best friend's neck, taking a break from the heat of the kitchen to be in the heat of his restaurant's outdoor patio. Valoran was talking about the tailor shop, what Valli had been up to, Heliotrope's latest nervous breakdown... Things in the world were changing, but the little town was relatively unchanged, unaffected by the chaos. Ah, the benefits of a small town. Though the chaos had brought many of their roving clanmates back home... Hemlock's sun-warmed, sleep-laden thoughts were interrupted by the heavy thud of a dragon landing in the town plaza. He peeked open an eye, seeing a bleary mass of orange- Oh, probably Ville the- Valoran tensed underneath Hemlock's coils. Oh, that dragon was way too big to be Ville... ugh. New customer then. He'd have to go back in the kitchen.

"Hemlock." Valoran hissed under his breath, neck still tense.

"Yeah, yeah," Hemlock yawned. "I know. Back into the kitchen for me. New customer n' all." Valoran grabbed one of Hemlock's coils and tugged.

"Hey! What in the god's names--!" Hemlock's eyes had shot open and he stared at the dragon, the not a new customer, that was still standing in the plaza. They looked like... a tundra? But huge. And also nothing like any tundra Hemlock had ever met, what?

The dragon was looking around the town, eyes slowly inspecting the buildings, haphazard looking in construction to an unfamiliar eye. The mysterious dragon's eyes finally landed on the pair, lighting up.

Oh gods, oh gods. Hemlock and Valoran were frozen in place as the dragon walked up to them, posture stiff, poised, head thrown back, shoulders squared. Once they were a few feet away they stopped. Their eyes were hard, boring holes through into Hemlock's soul. Their mouth opened... Hemlock, closed his eyes. He didn't know why, but this dragon felt dangerous. Powerful. Best just to accept what would come, at least Hemlock had told Val how much he loved him, everything would be fine-! It's all good, everything is good, oh gods...

A loud, harsh voice cut through Hemlock's spiraling thoughts.

"MY SINCEREST GREETINGS! I have arrived here in this town, the Windmarrow Town, should my maps be correct, to act as a Guide and Guardian to the denizens of this clan. It is my sacred duty, given to me and my kind by our most revered father, most ancient of deities, Earthshaker! Thus I am offering myself as a servant to this clan, to fulfill my duty. As you must know, I am of the first generation of my kind, the dragons known as Obelisk, tasked by our Earth-father to protect--"

"HOLD IT! Shut- stop-! Stop talking! Too fast!" Hemlock shrieked over the overbearing presence of the other dragon. This was too much, too fast. He needed to think; Windsinger grant him strength.

The golden dragon immediately halted, eyes widening, body stiffening. He abruptly sat down, sitting at attention, eyes still boring into Hemlock.

"My apologies, sir! I did not believe my speech was too quick but I can most certainly slow it down!"

Hemlock gripped Valoran's mane, trying not to scream. Valoran, bless him, sensed his distress and spoke up.

"It's not that you were speaking too fast. You're just giving us too much information at once. Can you wait a moment?" A nod from the dragon. "Good. Now, Hemlock, do you think you can go gather the clan? I think this is something we need everyone for."

Hemlock sagged in relief. Get the clan. Yeah he could do that. He gingerly uncoiled himself from around Valoran's neck and took to the skies.

---

A large golden dragon stood poised in the center of the town plaza.

"What the...?" "It looks like a tundra?" "Why do you think they're here?" "No way I've never seen a tundra like that before." "Don't you think they look... tense?" "I don't know but it must be important if the whole clan has to be here..." "Tense? More like ready to kill at any moment! Just look at that face, yeesh."

The near entirety of the Windmarrow Clan stood encircling the town plaza.

"Silence!"

The whispering cut.

An older skydancer stepped forward. She was dwarfed by the strange new dragon, but carried with her a confidence of years. Hamadrys wasn't the clan leader, ...there wasn't really any clan leader actually, but her seniority in the clan garnered respect, despite her long absences traveling.

"Welcome, to the Windmarrow Clan, traveler. We have never seen a dragon that looks like you before."

The strange dragon's posture somehow stiffened even more, how was that possible?, and he barked, "Indeed! That would not be a surprise, as I am of the first generation of my kind! I am an Obelisk, created by the Earthshaker and granted mission by that same power to protect dragonkind! It is indeed a heavy burden to bear but one I am more than willing to bear, as I have only the utmost respect for our Father. I wish for nothing more to fulfill my duty, as laid out to me, which I have, as have many of my siblings, taken to mean we should travel the land, each choosing a clan of dragons to serve and guide as Paladins of the Father-"

Hamadrys' dry voice cut through the stream of words, "First generation? Your eyes are Plague. Not Earth. And no new dragon species have been made since before this age. There has only been the discovery of first children."

The dragon's eyes widened and their mouth opened to speak. Hamadrys' continued talking.

"I find it more believable that you are a tundra, or pehaps gaoler, warped by Plague's diseases and here to spread the sickness of your mother." And wow. Apparently the dragon's earlier expression wasn't a glare, because they were now staring death at Hamadrys. She paused and stared the dragon in the eyes.

"Oh? Well why else would you lie like that if you were not planning something nefarious?"

The dragon's entire being seemed to swell, fury alight in their gaze. They didn't move from their seat, but seemed to loom anyways.

"HOW. DARE YOU?! While my eyes are indeed Plague I am NOT a liar! Nothing I have said is a falsehood. I am not a progenitor, I was not handcrafted by our Father, but I am born of two parents who were! Therefore I am of the FIRST GENERATION of our kind! A noble Obelisk! My parents hatched me in the Plague-lands, but my heritage is true! To dare question-" The dragon cut off with a strangled roar of barely contained rage.

The dragons gathered around the plaza tensed, ready to step in should a fight begin. Suddenly, the blurred green shape of a dragon hastily landed between Hamadrys and the dragon. Oh, Athyrium was finally back! And... she was holding her arms up, back to the stranger.

"Aha... hey, Mom. I see, uh, that. Thing's've gotten pretty tense, huh? Thank Windsinger I was following him, ha! Though, guess I'm a bit late, oops. " Athyrium's wings fluttered nervously. "I can vouch for this guy though! Definitely an Obelisk! Sooo..."

Hamadrys cut in. "How can you be sure?"

"Well, I was kinda... visiting in Dragonhome when these guys were discovered? Wild time, lemme say. So I can tell they're definitely an Obelisk. They've all been dispersin' around Sornieth pretty quickly. I'm kinda impressed."

With her words, Hamadrys settled. She side-eyed the new dragon. He glared back. After a minute of tense silence, Hamadrys turned to the clan, "Well, you heard Athyrium. It... seems we have a new member of the clan! Though you never did tell us your name."

The dragon stuttered, wings flaring, expression going from death glare to horror comically quick. "I can't believ- MY APOLOGIES! It somehow slipped my mind completely- Ah!" They straightened to attention, "Greetings Windmarrow Town Residents! I am known as [name]! I prefer to be referred to with he/him pronouns! I was born to a large traveling Plague clan that my parents had decided to Guide! Now that I am an adult, I have ventured out into the world to fulfill my duty. I am an Obelisk dragon here to serve to the utmost of my capabilities! Please accept me and my humblest apologies for acting so rude upon questioning! It is understandable to be suspicious!" He opened his mouth to say more, before a monotone shout interrupted.

"STOP. TALKING. Mother's fury, you talk to much. Welcome to the Clan, now shut it." A tiny blue fae was fluttering in front of [name]'s face.

"Oh. Okay."

"Thank all the gods but the two who made you..." With that, a sunny orange skydancer apologetically pulled the fae away.

"Sorry, sorry. He's like that. Welcome to the Clan! Let's go Del, come on."

[name] sat there. Bewildered. What a way to be to be welcomed to the clan. Now, what was he here for? All the dragons were starting to disperse now... OH! "WAIT! Please let me know of any task I can help with!"
