Ember

Uh-oh, looks like this fiery one wandered a little too far from his home lair (grxndsxn, 437722), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. Please refrain from exalting him!

Important note: Please only trade this dragon on travelling dragon threads, as opposed to places such as the Auction House.

Ember would like to receive a permanent home someday, so if you'd like to adopt him after he's been travelling long enough, just let his owner know!

Ember, true to his name, has always had an interest in fire - a harmless one, thankfully, but to say his personality is also quite fiery would be a bit of an understatement.

Ember is most interested in visiting the Ashfall Waste.

Fluttering down into a green forest glen, Ember looked around. This certainly was not the Ashfall Waste, in fact, it seemed to be the opposite. Green and colorful, with a flowing turquoise stream, this place was a beautiful garden! Ember happily spent some time here in what he soon found out was called the Fount of Travelers, refreshing himself for the next leg of his journey. There was not much fire here, and so Ember became bored quickly. It was time to move on.

Ember had all his energy flying across leaving behind the Fount of Travelers towards his next destination the Ashfall Waste until he ran across greeting a brownish gray wildclaw who was covered in vines and nature like wear. The dragon introduced themselves as Hycanthus who was traveling back home. He asked where she was heading and she offered for a place to stay if needed. Ember gladly accepted the offer going high above into the floating islands in the Starfall Isles. The beautiful glowing with colorful landscape covered the massive island with dragons on the ledges leaping off to spread their wings. He would already check off his list of being in Arcance territory with a good experience. He was lead through security then onto an area where there were other travelers taking a rest. Ember found he would stay the night then leave off to another rest spot early in the morning. He didn't make any friends except for Static who was nearly a veteran traveler. Once the morning came he packed off dropping off the ledge knowing it was time to keep moving.

One day when Ember was venturing, he was suddenly captured and placed into a large wooden cage. He couldn't see what had captured him, but it seemed he was heading for something quite unpleasant...

However, Ember found a dragon he recognized, and it was DeadMansParty, an Obelisk dragon he was friends with back in his home clan. DeadMansParty managed to scare off the kidnappers and rescue Ember, and allowed him to come with him back to Crow Callers.

Ember was confused - what was it that just happened to him? He was lucky to have been rescued, but was nervous about it happening again. He decided to learn some self-defense tactics and go on his way again later.
