"Mary-Go-Round"

Round and round and round she goes! Where she stops, nobody knows!

The lairs of Clan Galexi have been subject to much duress as of late. Despite the move from the Hewn City to the Moonportal, tensions still run high. All able-bodied dragons have assignments to take frequent watches ever since the appearance of the Luminax family, and regular scouting parties comb the surrounding areas dreading even a glimpse of the aforementioned Emperor. In addition to this, the lair has been actively recruiting any Gaolers, Ridgebacks, and Guardians who find themselves willing to fend off a possible dire threat. The extensive, tireless training of the new muscle has left even the most veteran of the clan's warriors rather jaded. The additions of Goldberry and Bombadil, while very much welcome, were more than a little portentous, and set most of the lair on edge. While both Obelisks are kindhearted and friendly in demeanor, most members of the lair viewed the appearance of their kind as an omen.

It was in this state that Midge chanced upon Clan Galexi. Seeing the grim faces of the scouts and warriors, the exhausted shuffling about of the gatherers and scholars, and the trepidation of anxious hatchlings provoked something deep within the Tundra's fluffy heart.

The lair was severely lacking in levity.

It was then that Midge found her feet, so to speak, as an acrobat. She took up the stage name of "Mary-Go-Round", and set to practicing various arts of entertainment, merrymaking, and of course, clowning. Her natural acrobatic talent as a Wind dragon is the staple of most of her acts, allowing her to somersault and whirl through the air in maneuvers that would make even a Spiral dizzy. Strangely enough, her heavy fur coat does not hinder her in any way. On the contrary, whenever she dives or swoops aloft, her fur seems to fluff outward like the fuzz of a dandelion seed, allowing her to drift about as though weightless.

For all of her skill in acrobatics, Midge is versatile as a performer, and can also be found crafting enchanted balloon animals for hatchlings, or appearing as if from thin air to break up conflicts with well-timed (but groan-inducing) puns. As a routine, she gathers up willing participants from the lair at least twice per week to perform for them, providing precious moments of whimsical distraction.

The Tundra's acts are intended for general audiences, so that they may be enjoyed by adults and hatchlings alike. Travelers journeying through Light territories sometimes seek out lair in hopes of catching a performance by the daring Mary-Go-Round, and are often left agape at the sight of the Tundra leaping and twirling about in spite of her thick fur coat. Any dragons who find themselves weary from their treks through Emperor-trodden lands can find refuge in the lairs of Clan Galexi, and while they rest safely under the watchful eyes of the clan's warriors, they may also find their hearts lightened by the cheerful showmanship of Mary-Go-Round herself.

Her lairmates have drastically varying opinions of her. Some find Midge annoying and bothersome, whilst others, clan leader Archangel included, find her quite charming, and believe that her presence is invaluable to Clan Galexi. It should be noted that, even though the more stoic dragons insist that Midge is a pest rather than a boon, they may still sometimes be seen grinning in secret at some of her antics or jokes, though they would deny it if any dared to comment.

In her downtime, Midge likes to write poetry and has a preference for haiku, though she considers her poems very personal and she seldom allows other lairmates to read them. The content of said poems are the source of much gossip and rumors throughout the lair, but Midge herself does not seem to mind this. As long as the dragons of Clan Galexi are amused and smiling, she contents herself with the knowledge that her presence has brought about a change for the better.

Midge's familiar, an elemental goblin by the name of Blunder, seems to greatly enjoy assisting the Tundra in her performances. As his name suggests, he specializes in slapstick humor, and possesses the boundless amount of energy required to keep the attention span of restless hatchlings.
