Biography
A spark is all it takes
to ignite a mighty flame.
A spark is all it takes
to start the great machine.
A single spark, blue and vibrant
to turn the wheel 'round.
A single spark, bold and searing
to burn the whole world down!
The land was changing, churning, as the great Lord of Earth sang His song and beckoned His children deep into the ground. Whispers and echos of the thousands of stone bodies awaiting the light were to reach well across the land of dragons. But others were whispering too. Listening. Moving. Old things that should have stayed old and withered were licking crooked jaws at the call of new life, born in such a unique way. Thousands of bodies had been carved, but only so many would escape with a fresh soul.
A spark to light the fox's tails,
A spark from sharpened claws
Only a spark to light the way,
Only one spark to consume the gods!
Deep, deeper than the tunnels of ancient ridgebacks and banescales, in chambers long lost and ruined, the child's voice rang out. She hummed as she peered into her cupped paws before releasing the living electric spark that joined the others dancing around her. The statues illuminated from their light were only a fraction of those in room. Crumbled, ugly things, the poor little monsters. She knew it wasn't their fault, they had been made that way by Them, and Their cruel vicious children. But Their seal had slipped, weathered and tattered at the entrance of the cave from the Earthshaker's groans. The child danced through the grotesque, soulless statues, as her family snaked their way to new bodies and new life. Their time had come again!
